Big River – Gloster is the largest facility within the Big River platform. Completed in the first half of 2024, this greenfield build can produce up to 300MMBF of quality dimensional lumber and timbers annually. Located in Southwest Mississippi, one of the richest timber baskets in the United States, and adjacent to a large-scale pellet manufacturing facility, our Gloster facility is in an ideal location. Its proximity to large amounts of sustainably-grown southern yellow pine on both public and private lands makes Big River Gloster the premier location within the Southern US. The facility also has great transportation advantages to large U.S. markets by truck and it will soon have railcar capability in the near future. 

Situated on over 150 acres in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the Vicksburg mill is capable of producing up to 180MMBF annually. Vicksburg provides strategic transportation advantages due to its central location and proximity to rail and interstate traffic. Formerly owned by Anderson Tully, the Vicksburg facility was acquired in 2018 with a major expansion completed in 2021. The recent renovations and upgrades have made this facility capable of producing 180MMBF of quality dimensional lumber and timbers. The facility is short line rail served with connections to the CPKCS railroads.

Our Coushatta, LA facility is located in Western Louisiana, near the Red River. Acquired in 2022, this facility has already seen significant upgrades towards greater efficiencies throughout the mill. With a specialty focus on timbers production, Coushatta is capable of producing up to 90MMBF annually. This region of the state is known for its rich history in timber production and its vibrant logging force. The facility has great shipping opportunities into large homebuilding markets and is located on a CPKCS main line. Big River couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this community and to contribute to the surrounding area.

Big River – Carthage is another specialty mill within the Big River platform. This facility is located in the timber-rich South Central Arkansas wood basket, roughly 60 miles South of Little Rock. The Carthage facility suffered a catastrophic fire under prior ownership in 2022 and reconstruction was completed in the Fall of 2024. Big River is proud of this 5/4 decking facility that is capable of producing up to 65MMBF of exceptional quality decking products on an annual basis.
